The Commercial Mobile Alert System is expected to be up and running by 2010 and will accompany Marshall University's current messaging system, said Arnold Miller, assistant vice president of information technology at Marshall University.

The board will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Shawkey Dining Room in the Memorial Student Center and will address several items, including proposed tuition and fees and budget proposals for the next fiscal year and possible salary increases and changes to student fees for Marshall's School of Medicine.
