Marshall University's Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine is having its 21st Annual Alumni Homecoming Weekend Friday and Saturday.
Lectures on topics such as weight loss in children, molecular microbiology, abnormalities of visual development, idiopathic scoliosis, advances in movement disorder surgery and neurosurgical techniques will be given Friday in the Harless Auditorium at the Marshall University Medical Center by Drs. James Bailes, Gary Procop, Teresa Vives, Charles Shuff, Bryan Payne and Anthony Alberico.
A reception will be in the Grand Theater at Pullman Plaza Hotel Friday night.
Tours of the Marshall University Medical Center, Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, Robert C. Byrd Biotechnology Science Center and Byrd Clinical Center will be Saturday morning.
A pre-game tailgate honoring the reunion classes of 1982, 1987, 1997 and 2002 will be at "The Thunder Zone" from 2 to 4 p.m. before the Marshall versus New Hampshire game.
