Marshall University's surplus computer sale will be conducted by written bid from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 17 at Marshall's receiving department at 201 21st St.

The computer sale will contain 150 computers sold in lots of five or more and at least 10 more powerful machines, which includes several laptop computers, will be sold individually.

The bids will be opened Sept. 18, and winning bidders will be contacted and required to pick up items by 3 p.m. Sept. 20.

University staff recently has tested most of the computers and monitors in the sale, but does not guarantee any items sold. Cash and checks payable to Marshall University will be accepted. Marshall reserves the right to reject bids for any reason.

The computer sale will be across the street from the State Electric Showroom at 201 21st St., and the next sale is planned for Nov. 19.
